Appalachian State University presents Analytics Day
June 26, 2025 from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM Eastern Time via Zoom
This year’s theme is DATA = INSIGHT
Registration is FREE and open from April 4, 2025 – June 13, 2025. The event is limited to 1000 people so be sure to sign up early. A zoom link will be shared with registered attendees on the week of June 26, 2025.
What is Analytics Day?
Analytics Day is a FREE, virtual, one day mini-conference with a focus on using Tableau for Higher Education analytics. Individuals from a wide variety of higher-ed institutions will share their work through show-and-tell sessions.
Who should attend Analytics Day?
This is a day of professional development intended for new and veteran employees in various higher education offices and departments. From analysts to data scientists and directors to researchers, there is something for everyone! If you’re interested in higher education data and data visualization, then this event cannot be missed.
Call for Proposals:
We are
accepting proposals
until May 23, 2025. Analytics Day sessions are scheduled to last 20 minutes and you can present on any data analysis or visualization topic related to higher education. If you are interested in presenting, but cannot decide on a topic, check out this
list of suggestions
. If you have multiple ideas, but can't decide which one to submit, then submit them all!
Guest Speaker: Sam Priddy
Sam has many years of experience helping users make data more approachable and actionable. He specializes in data literacy, visualization, and dashboard building, breaking down complex ideas into easy-to-follow steps. Sam shares his insights through videos, webinars, tutorials, and blogs, empowering people to confidently work with data and make informed decisions. He embodies Tableau's mission to help everyone see and understand their data.
